The picture, which has later hand colouring, has some imperfections in the titles but this is in the actual printing not this particular print, we know this as we have had two of these engravings before all with exactly the same flaw. Otherwise the picture is in good condition. Size of engraved area 140mm x 100mm.

Fortifications at Bomarsund
 
Steel engraving of the 'Fortifications of Bomarsund'. Bomarsund was a 19th century fortress in the Sund on the Aland Islands in the Baltic. Built by Russia in 1832 it was destroyed by the British-French fleet in the Crimean War in 1854. The picture dates from around 1860.
 
The picture, which has later hand colouring, has a small crease bottom right but otherwise in very good condition. Si ze of engraved area 210mm x 120mm.

Amsterdam towards the Zuyder Zee C1830

Fairly rare steel engraving by J B Neagle from an original painting by W M Craig of Amsterdam Holland towards the Zuyder Zee. The picture dates from around 1830.

The picture, which has later hand colouring, is in good condition apart from a crease bottom left corner. This looks worse on the screen image than it actually is, but it is there. I would think it would flatted out and be hardly visible once mounted and framed. Otherwise in very good condition. Size of engraved area 220mm x 150mm.
