The Battle of Lagos, Portugal (large)

Super engraving representing Admiral Edward Boscawen's victory at the Battle of Cape Lagos, off Portugal in 1759. The picture was published in France, French text, and was engraved by Jean Simond in 1805. However I am pretty certain this is a re-strike of the original but because it is laid on card it is very difficult to determine the exact age. It could date anywhere from late Victorian up till the 1950's but more likely the turn of the century. It is a stunning picture which will look magnificent framed.

Please note that this picture is laid on card and as such postage costs will be higher due to its size. UK postage will be £10.00, overseas charges on request.
