Original signed etching of an old gentleman sitting, in what looks like from the arms, a Windsor chair. The picture appears to be signed by Norman Hyton, not 100% sure. Dates from around 1910. We have a landscape etching from this artist in our 'Non Maritime' section.
  
The picture is a little age discoloured and has two small water marks just above the sitters head, otherwise in good condition. Double click image for a more detailed view. Size of engraved area 250mm x 220mm.

Super original limited edition etching 112/300 by Don (Donavan) Swann dating from the late nineteen thirties early forties. I believe the plane is a Dakota DC3. Don Swann (1889-1954) was an American artist who made his home in Baltimore and studied in Munich. He is known for his historic ships, trees and US Navy. His work can be found in many permanent collections including the Metropolitan Museum and the US Naval Museum. The Smithsonian Institute acquired 33 original etchings for the Division of Graphic Arts. Signed in pencil by the artist.

Fine quality limited edition 150 of 575 titled 'Stubborn Encounter' by the Canadian artist Wentworth D Folkins. Wentworth Folkins was born in Cochrane, Ontario in 1928 and was regarded internationally as one of the leading watercolour artist of steam railroading subjects, he died in 1993. The picture was printed in Canada in 1989, signed in pencil by the artist.
