Greenwich Hospital, Thomas Malton 1799 (large) 

Scarce original aquatint 'North Front of Greenwich Hospital' by Thomas Malton dated 1799. The picture probably comes from 'A Picturesque Tour Through the Cities of London and Westminster' published between 1792 and 1801. Super image of the hospital from the River Thames.  

The picture has some very light creasing top left and is a little age discoloured, otherwise in good condition. Double click image for a more detailed view. Sheet size 205mm x 110mm.

The State barge, Pyne 1805

Superb original lithograph of the State Barge by William Henry Pyne from his renowned work 'The Costume of Great Britain'. Published by William Miller in 1805 the picture was drawn and engraved by Pyne. The location is probably somewhere on the River Thames.

Hand coloured engraving, probably a re-strike of the Tower of London from the River Thames. Drawn and etched by C E Holloway and dated 1885 the picture shows working sailing barges some carrying hay.  

The picture is in good condition. Size of engraved area 500mm x 330mm.
